Possibly the most popular of Marvel Superheros, Spiderman came on to the comic-scene in August of 1962. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Spiderman changed the scope of comics, by inviting the reader to relate themselves to the superhero. These efforts are not lost on fans of the Spiderman movies, starring Toby McGuire and Kirsten Dunst, released in 2002 and 2004, with a third movie promised for 2007.
